Here are a few ways you can help the branch with their fund raising.

You could join the Halifax RNLI branch committee.
 Or register as a helper for our fundraising events, colections etc  
Time is the most valuable commodity you have to give, when you join the RNLI-Halifax branch you will be able to assist in organising and joining in our fund raising activities.                  
Donate to the RNLI.   
If you do not wish to join the branch, but would like to make a donation there are a few ways you can do this, you can send a cheque / p.o to the branch, payable to the RNLI. You can pay by credit/debit card by clicking on the donate link at the bottom of this page . Or direct to the RNLI via this link

Collection boxes. 
The branch will always welcome the opportunity to place a collection box in  suitable locations, eg public houses, shops, hotels, etc if you would like one for your premises please contact us.
Raffle prizes.
If you own a business and would like donate a prize for our raffle please contact us.

Unwanted goods.
Turn out your loft and any other nook and cranny, and donate any unwanted items for us to use for our tombola, and car boot sales (please no clothes)
Buy goods from Amazon
If you buy from Amazon, books, cd's etc by using one of the Amazon links on this web site you will be helping our fund raising as the branch will receive a commission.

Are you a member of a club or group? do they have guest speakers?
Would you like us to visit your school for talks and safety education?
Dave Gledhill chairman and Ray Stearne treasurer of the Halifax RNLI branch do presentations on the workings and history of the rnli, these include a talk and short films.

Key facts about the RNLI The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates over 230 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and has more than 100 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824 its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 138,000 lives.
